Hi there, i just came here to tell whats happening. I was going to one school for a year and i didn't like it so i transfered now and i feel kinda weird. Because i'm going to completely new school where i don't know anyone and will probably be hard to fit in. I'm going to class where they know each other for year now so will it be hard to fit in? I'm kinda nervous what to do and say there and how to act. Please help me, give any suggestions what i do first day and to leave good impression :).

Well,I'm just telling what i usually do.
Be calm and attentive.
Keep a nice positive face with an occasional smile.
Just look around and find people you think are easy-going.

What I did for the first 2-3 weeks is stay low key. Dont make youself stand out, and dont act like you're "all that", because you're not. Just stay low for a bit, figure out how things go, what people talk about, how the school operates. Listen/eavesdrop on conversations that people are talking about near you to hear what people talk about

Once you know how everything works, and feel comfortable, start talking to people. Start conversations. Dont be a jerk and do wrong things.

Sometimes people will come up to you and say Hi. However if you want to show that you are communicative, just say hi to them first.

I know how you feel, I'm currently in my sixth school and thirteenth house. Act friendly and approachable. Also people love to talk about themselves so ask them some questions and show them that you're interested in their life. Try to find out if you share a common interest with the other person, that will make it easier to think of something to talk about.
But above all be yourself because everyone else is taken :) (cheesy but true :P ).

Make sure you meet a whole range of new people. Otherwise if you just lay low, you might just be perceived as the 'quiet kid' and you might get left out. Ofc, that rarely happens, but just make sure you have a chance of making some cool friends for the rest of the year(s).

There's always someone that welcomes the new kid and invites them into their 'group'. It's not like everyones gonna ignore a new person in their school

Be sociable and nice.

And look your best most importantly, people judge others based off of looks, even before they even talk to the person. First impressions are made within 3 mins of talking to someone, so that should show how important it is.

That is so true, you can try all you like to be friendly to people but ultimately only the people you've spoken to know your friendly. Whereas everyone can see you at the same time, everyone can judge you and if you don't look good they will make up stereotypes of you. Obviously stereotypes can be proved wrong but the same principle applies to Jon interviews; the suit is more likely to get the job than the scruffy sod in trackies and ripped tee. So first impressions are EVERYTHING

Smile. When you smile and look happy people want to talk to you. When you are scared they stay away from you.

High school can be real fun. Just hang close to those who like and support you.
