It happens to me very rarely, and usually only happens for about a minute or so. One time it did last an hour, but I was on the bus to school so i didnt tell anyone. If it burns while you urinate at other times, then it could be a UTI. If you are still a virgin, it cannot be an STI.

I'd bet that you're rubbing too aggressively, and/or using a lube with some rubbing alcohol in it...like hand cream. Try adjusting your technique so you're not rubbing so aggressively at the tip, and stay away from hand cream or soap...just b/c something is slippery doesn't mean its a good lube!
