Hey guys for the past 2-3 years I've had extremely bad period pains, I've been to doctors and specialist yet they just give me tablets which isent acutally solving the problem. I keep missing out on school because I cant move because it hurts so much. Does anyone know how I can reduce the pain or like what it could be

get something warm like a hot water bottle and hold it on your stomach, it helps a lot :)
Exercise is supposed to help but if you can't even move that's not much use :P

Some herbal teas like raspberry leaf and chamomile help. Also certain yoga poses.
When I had really bad pains like that it turned out to be Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, where the egg isn't released properly and forms painful cysts in the wall of the ovary. It might be worth checking if there is a history of it in your family.

yeah i get really bad period pains and i just have to lie on the floor cause it hurts so badly! the doctors put me on the pill and that helped a lot...having a warm, not hot bath is aslo good cause you dont need to move for a while and you slowly relax

My period is so light that I barely even feel it, but my best friend takes pills because hers causes her a lot of pain.
She brings tea to school in a water bottle in the morning, and at night she holds a hot water bottle as she's falling asleep. I'm sorry that it causes you so much pain!

Pills work, also if you're lucky enough with your partner, sex in period also helps a lot.

Hot water bottle, ibuprofen, and female tea! Usually I can't get away with just one but two or all three can almost completely eliminate cramps for me, and I get them pretty badly as well.

I wish I could help you out, but I'm the same way, and nothing helps. I usually do the hot water bottle thing like Nat said, but if you're at school that's not really an option. Take a lot of Ibuprofen, and curl up in a ball.
