This is in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The simple dream I had
was for all who wanted to dream it.
For all who had been persecuted
just because of the color of their skin.

I had a dream
and in that dream all people were
treated equally and with justice for all.

The opposition never wanted that dream
They burned down my house
they destroyed everything I had.

They put me in prison.
But I was able to come through for the sake of that dream.

I only wanted peace in the world.
I was shot because someone had opposed that dream.
But we must forgive those people.

We all must learn to forgive.
And that we all must share this one world.

So I say to you now.

I have a dream, I have a dream for peace and
justice for all.

You're right.

He did so much and I think a lot of people don't realize that anymore

True that.Without him Barack Obama defintely wouldn't be running for president of the U.S.A.Whether he wins or not,the fact that he ran with such support is another great moment in American history.

I think it's a bit harsh to say that a lot of people today don't realise how much good he did.

Well certainly here in uk not many 15 year olds do know what he did.

Everyone at my school (I'm in the UK too) and in the neighbouring schools knew about him at that age.
