What is your view on foreign music (music in different languages). Personally foreign music is my favorite kind of music. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, German, and pretty much any language there is I love. What I've noticed with most kids these days is that they think you can't enjoy music if you can't understand it. Honestly that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If that was the case why do so many people like death metal and screamo? I can never understand what they're saying.
I believe anyone can like any song regardless of the language it's in. I think America is one of the few countries that has this kind of thinking since a lot of other countries are open to all types of music. With that said is there any foreign groups you like to listen to? I like Silent Siren, UVERworld, Aqua Timez, B.A.P, Boyfriend, Super Junior, SHINee, and a bunch of other ones. Too many to list really.

I like a lot of foreign bands, some of them do speak English, so I guess it's kind of cheating, but the best music is the kind that you don't know the words to. Music isn't words, it's feelings.

Since my first language is spanish and I live in latin america then I guess foreign music would be music in english for me. And I think there are a bunch of great songs in english, same with japanese, some anime OPs have some badass songs in them.

Hate it. They don't have the kinds of music I actually enjoy in other languages.

It seems like you're saying absolutely all music in every other language but english sucks. That makes you suck.

Didn't say that. I said I didn't like it. That doesn't mean it's bad.

I love Rammstein, but I can't understand a word they're saying :)

Unless you're into country, there's pretty much at least one country famous for one of your (broader) genres of music. I really doubt there isn't foreign music you would like, just like always, the good stuff takes a bit of digging around.
See, lyrics are a VERY big part of what I like about an artist, so I typically go for French/Quebecois music so I can understand it. I used to listen to a good deal of Finnish because that's where the good metal comes from, although I know very little Finnish.
I had a J-Pop phase in primary, but I don't talk about that lol.

Oh cool. Rammstein was my first foreign band. I took German class because I liked them so much.

Come back to the J-Pop side, Syvelocin. We have cookies. xD

I'm not massively into foreign music, I like being able to understand the lyrics of the music I'm listening to because the words are what's important to me. I dislike Rammstein because of this plus the fact that I don't actually like their music adds to that.
