What is "sitting at concerts?"

I've got a SEATED ticket for Nine Inch Nails w/ Explosions in the Sky cause they were out of floor tickets. I've never been to NIN so I feel like it's still worth it, but I can't fathom how you sit down at a concert. How? :P

At a concert you just stand up even if you have a seat close to your posterior.

I doubt anyone is actually going to be sitting, but I think they sell it as such because they have seats available.

Ive only been to one concert and it was an outdoor one, but i think "seated tickets" are the nosebleed section. I may be wrong though.

Actually its pretty cool when you are waiting for the band, you have your place. When i went to see Muse in Oporto i had to sit in the grass for 4 hours.

You don't have to sit, but just hope that there's not some idiot behind you that wants to sit, and keeps asking you to sit down. Believe it or not i have seen that. So annoying.

Sitting is where all the old people sit that don't want to get up or sing along and it's the most awkward thing in the world. Yeah I've only been sitting at a few concerts but I can't imagine it at NIN that's got to be weird. I suppose it's easier to sit through pop bands and stuff rather than rock/metal because that's when everyone wants to get up and in the pit xD

By sitting down and watching an artist perform. That's what you're supposed to do in the first place if you don't have a floor ticket.
