I'm 16 years old. Before I entered puberty, my voice sounded almost like a squirrel. :D When I was 12/13, I eventually got my voice breaks and it really changed, but it isn't as deepen as I would like it to be. Is my voice still changing or as it stopped and it's going to stay like this? I also would like to know if you guys do something to protect your voice, do some type of voice exercise or avoid certain types of food and drinks.

It might get a little lower, you have a few more years yet, so something may happen. However if it doesnt, dont feel embarrassed. There are some adults w/ super high pitched voices (Believe me, I know from (non-paid) work)

i dont think u have to do any kind of voice exercises to deepen ur voice. i think once ur voice changes it will stay that way ur not going to change the way ur body changes. Mine is still cracking tho and idk if it will b high or low.

Your voice will usually have one big "Crack" and then will change slightly over time. I remember my cousin when I was growing up, I didn't see him often but his voice got progressively deeper every time I saw him.

So it will probably change slightly and you'll hardly notice it because it will only change a small bit at a time.

You still have a few years yet for it to change, although I don't know if it will change much more. When I was 12 my voice was really high-pitched and you couldn't tell me apart from a 5 year old. Now my voice is like a grown man and on the phone i'm often mistaken for my dad... lol.

It could still change a bit. It doesn't makes it deeper but i drink a lot of water and if need to speak a lot i also avoid spice food.

It's kinda the same thing with me, and I have a very low voice, but still not low enough to sound like an adult. So yes you, and I, both will get deeper voices.

Idk... I feel like it'll get deeper, and I want mine to, too. I'm 15 and mine changed about a year and a half ago lmao
