I don't know if i've already posted a similar thread so if i did, sorry.
Anyway, i always had this thing i could do with my eyes. I can see perfectly, i think i have almost perfect vision but if i wish i can start seeing all blurry. I can see all blurry for about 20 seconds or so then my eyes start to weep.
Its really strange, i can chose when i do it.
Another thing is, when i see everything normal, when im not doing that thing, sometimes completely random i start seeing some shaped. Worm like, with about 3 cm or so and the width about 0.5 cm. I really dont know how to explain it better. They are not still, they move either to left or to the right, up or down, and then disappear.
Anyone got a clue what this could be?

Do you mean you can make yourself cry, like the tears start to build up, causing you to see blurred?
As with the shapes you are seeing, it could be a migraine. If it is a migraine, it is a very uncommon (but not therefore more dangerous as a normal migraine so don't worry) form, where you get vision distortions in the forms of shapes and colors. My dad has a form of it and that is how I found out that it can happen.
Does the distortion come with pain or any other sensation?
All the help I can really give. If you do get pain with the distortions, it could well be migraines. And for the blurred vision not being making yourself cry, I really don't know :(
You are a mysterious case indeed

Thanks for the reply.
I can literally start seeing blurry and after a few seconds, tears start to build up but only after i 'activate' this so to speak.
The distortion doesn't come with pain or anything out of ordinary. Although this shapes appear more times when im looking through a glass or a screen.

The worm-like shapes are most likely floaters, and they're normal. I'm not too sure about the blurryness. I suggest you see an optometrist or an ophthalmologist.

With the distortions, do they happen more in high light-intensity environments and/or when it's cloudy?
And with the blurred vision, do you only have to think about it to do it, or do you have to make a small physical effort?
Yes I am only questioning now, but just narrowing things down :).
EDIT:
Do the distortions look like loads of tiny circles that move around a bit, easiest to see when there's white/light grey or light colours in the background?

Thank you so much. I google floaters, and yes it's exactly that.

Both actually, and i do have to make a small physical effort.
I now know that they are floaters, but thanks for the help on that too.

Nice to know it's resolved.
I googled floaters, that's a variety of what I said in the edit, and I get that.
Maybe more of it have it than we think.
Something new every day :P

Ah yes.
Do you change the way your eyes point, like do they move to point in a certain direction, or not?
