Alright so I'm a sophomore now and I've been in school for about a week now at my highschool. Lately I keep sitting next to all these girls and I'm very aware of a girls body language. The one thing though that keeps happening that I don't understand is this. For some reason often now I've had girls like put their head on their arm on the table and lay their head on their hand. Everytime though they do it facing away from me. Every time though the girls get a little nervous and keep playing with their phone or pencil. Do they dislike me?, do they like me?, is it just because every girl in my school is tired?

Do any of them do it in a flirty way? Or are they simply just resting?
This might sound stupid- or might not really connect, but being gay, I feel like there are ties between us and girls. I know sometimes I would act like I didn't notice a guy I found attractive when really I did. I'd pretend I didn't see them. Idk how that's suppose to lure someone haha.
Hope any of that helped.

So, here's the thing that gets me, the girls are facing away from you. If they were looking at you and plaing with their pencil, I'd say that the girls might like you, so you make them a little nervous (hence the pencil twirling). The thing is, they don't face towards you.
As a girl, if there's a guy I like, I'd love it if he'd talk to me. Sure, I'd get super nervous, but I'd be sure to look at him and pay attention to him. I'd want to be near him and love it if he wanted to sit by me.
If the girls look away, then either you keep sitting next to really shy girls (I'm shy too but I'd still want to look at a guy if I like him), or the girl may not particularly like you. You might even make them uncomfortable. There's also just the possibility the girl is trying to concentrate on the lesson being taught, and doesn't want to be distracted by you (I just thought of this one now :D )
Don't freak out or worry. Just think about how you act when you're near them. Do you say anything to them? Anything that might make a girl uncomfortable? Maybe the problem is that you didn't say anything, so the girl assumed you weren't interested in talking to her. Or, again, it might have just been the class. Was the teacher trying to explain a lesson? Take all of these things into account and see if that gets you anywhere.
Hope this helps!:)
