So, I am turning 18 and I am a senior. the locker rooms at my school are the open group shower kind. can I still shower even if there are my underclassman team mates in there too?

Yes. Showering in communal showers in it self is OK.

When you see "can I" do you mean physically or legally?
Either way, nobody is going to stop you and it's perfectly acceptable to shower in communal showers.

There was a time at the YMCA that guys would swim nude and shower together and it was considered normal.. Now guys are so paranoid that if they shower or in a guys locker room with younger teens they will be considered a pedophile. Add one more stress in growing up as a male

yes there are no problems there, being 18 makes you an adult according the law yes, but if you naked around underage people in appropriate circumstances such as showering at school or in the gym or school, then it doesn't matter. i shower naked at my local pool with children there, it doesn't matter because its a pool shower, if i were to try and touch them it would be a different story entirely.

Their your team mates. It is all right to shower with them and talk to them. Just be your normal coolness and don't get paranoid.

Yeah, their team mates. Not like they're going to make fun of you or anything, since you are a higher grade level than them

Yes, it's a communal shower. But, if you are not comfortable with it, don't do it. But it's totally okay for you to shower with them.
