Okay so I'm just curios as to how you make a friend or best friend. I live in South Africa && it seems as if people are just very rude && unfriendly I'm 16 && never really had a best friend? :)

I guess there's really not a method to make best friends. You just have to be patient and then meet with someone who has the same interests as you. Just remember one thing: a true friend is someone who accepts you the way you are, don't try to be someone different just to make friends.

Yeah, you can't "make" a best friend. Best friends are friends who accept you at your best and worst and it's a different kind of connection, one that forms gradually. My best friend is a girl I met and never thought I'd be close to. Someone I thought was a best friend no longer speaks with me.
Also, until you're an adult really (and even then, but teenagers are worse) friends come and go. When you're younger, pretty quickly. Because people are in the middle of changing and whatnot. So lots of people have never really had a best friend. Lots of people they say are best friends but it's not the same.

I hate to say this but maybe it's just luck idk. My best friend started out as a new kid in my class when we were 9 (13 now). We started out not liking each other but somehow ended up becoming best friends. He shows a lot of interest in me and in being with me and I try to do the same for him.

Obviously you need to make a friend first and transform over time to call them a best friend. My advice would be to gain friends through what you have in common. A club at my school was focused on video games and I joined that as I had interest in video games and met some great people and I do call one of them a best friend.

There's no how-to manual for human interaction and relationships. It just comes naturally. Don't look for it; let it come to you.

It just happens.
You become closer and closer with a friend, and then after you get so close and know tons about them, they kinda just become your best friend. But sadly the feeling may not be mutual, I know what that's like :(

It just kind of happens.
They come and go. I don't even know if I have a best friend at the moment. Not that I don't have friends, but adding "best" to it is kind of difficult.
