The Webpage can't be displayed!

Occasionally, when I try to access this site from a desktop I get an error. It says the webpage can not be displayed. It has only been happening with this website. I go on some other sites and it never happens. Does anyone else have this problem? :confused:

Did it last happen around 30 mins ago? If so, i had the same problem, and believe the site may have been down.

Yes, we had some unexpected downtime earlier tonight. It was down (roughly) from 7:20PM EST - 9:20PM EST, give or take.

Hopefully, we aught to be good the rest of the night.

Yeah, I experienced the same thing between the times that Val gave.
I assumed it was down unexpectedly, and I guess I was correct.

If it's planned downtime, you will likely see an announcement a day or so in advanced in the announcements forum. So basically, if we didn't announce it ahead of time, it's almost guaranteed that it was unexpected.

We recently had another error, from approximately 10:20PM EST - 10:40PM EST. Obviously we are back now.

I honestly cannot answer that for you, as I don't know, and I'd rather not speculate what I think. Mike (ImCoolBeans) aught to be on later tonight to clarify anything necessary, if he knows.

I would say our server because I went on another vB forum and it loaded fine

Ok, I was just curious.
I can't remember the last time it happened more than once unexpectedly in such a short period of time, so I'm just wondering what's up.

As you all know by now, we've been having some server issues over the last few days. I made a global announcement regarding the issue. I believe it's been fixed now, but I can't say for sure that the site won't go down again before tomorrow. However, if it does happen again we know what we have to do to fix it then.
