I tend to develop aches in my head and behind my eyes with this strong intolerance to light when (happens due to specific circumstances):
- I'm in my dad's car, which 'naturally' has the smell of musty rubber
- It is a fully but lightly overcast day, therefore with diffuse white-grey light
- It is humid
- There is no wind
The aching usually starts much more easily and is more intense when it is also:
- Raining
- The windows are closed in the car
- The car is moving
Even if it is overcast to produce diffuse light, humid and not windy, I can feel these aches coming on. A way I try to lessen the pain is wear sunglasses, which remove some of the light, and close my eyes.
Yes, this is a minor problem, but a problem nevertheless in that it can screw-up my enjoyment of a long (>20KM) trip to somewhere in my dad's car (why we don't use my mom's (which is the identical make), which doesn't smell so much, for long-haul, idk -.-). My questions are:
- Can I help stop this from happening?
- Is this a headache or migraine?
- Is this doing any long-term damage to my head/eyes? (just precautionary)
Answers and/or similar experiences/stories are welcome!
