you cant drink too much water its good for you!
well the uk government recommends you drink 6-8 glasses of water a day so try that and it might increase ur sperm.
also if you do not ejaculate for a few days/a week your sperm production will go up so you will be able to ejaculate more.

Ok really let's not turn masturbation into a science, please? On average to be healthy, you should drink about 8 glasses of water a day. Drink as much as you want, go crazy, but seriously we're not going to calculate the relationship between water intake and sperm production.
And yes, if you resist for a week you'll have more sperm in store so yes, you will shoot more.

Well you CAN drink too much water. I remember someone dying in a water-chugging contest when she drank like 20 cups of water. You actually get water-poisoning :O

yes, you can drink too much water.

yes you will produce more semen by drinking more water. that's because semen has water in it. And the more abundance of water, the more your body produces urine or more semen because there is more water to do that with.
here's an interesting thing: we usually tell you to drink more water because most people don't drink the amount of water they should be drinking a day. so in general, you should be drinking more water a day. The additional benefit is increaced semen production.
as far as how mudch you should drink, i can't answer because i'm not completely sure
edit: but here's something at the bottom of that link I gave you:
It's Not How Much You Drink, It's How Fast You Drink It!
The kidneys of a healthy adult can process fifteen liters of water a day! You are unlikely to suffer from water intoxication, even if you drink a lot of water, as long as you drink over time as opposed to intaking an enormous volume at one time. As a general guideline, most adults need about three quarts of fluid each day. Much of that water comes from food, so 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is a common recommended intake. You may need more water if the weather is very warm or very dry, if you are exercising, or if you are taking certain medications. The bottom line is this: it's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition.

Well it wont make you get more sperm it will just create more fluid to your ejaculation. Your sperm count will be about or almost the same.
Aren't you supposed to drink 8 glasses a day. So I am pretty sure no teenager drinks that so why don't you just drink 8 glasses a day and see how that goes.
Yes you can drink too much water a day! But just stay at 8 glasses and you wont have that problem.
Yes the more you store up and not jack the more will come out in the end.

Well, it takes a rather enormous amount of H2O to create the imbalance that would cause problems, and you'd feel awful, so you'd know. H2O is good for you. Most people don't drink enough, typically.
I've never heard that H2O consumption has any effect on sperm production. Heat, yes(it lowers it). But, I'd bet that you're talking about semen, all the stuff that comes out, right? Still, H2O has no effect. These thngs are sorta self regulating, so the amount is typically the same. If you're very aroused, the amount might increase a little. Typically, all that stuff amounts to about a teaspoon or so.
The age old 'Shoot Vs. Dribble' is largely determined by 2 things, guys. First is arousal, second is time since last ejac. More arousal+longer interval=better velocity.

1st paragraph: actually i disagree, because it does make a difference for me, and a lot of people agree
2nd paragraph: that's a good observation, more semen does not mean that you will shoot it out.

I have to disagree too. Dehydration screws a lot of things up, and I've heard extensively that seminal fluid production is one of those things. I can't point to studies, but I think it's taken as a given. It also lowers production of every other bodily fluid, after all.
Full disclosure: I am having trouble finding anything concrete...maybe it's a very, very widely-adopted myth. But I doubt it.

Guys, it's a myth!
Indiana University School of Medicine published a list of 7 myths that are fake or have no scientific support. Even doctors believe in them.
DECEMBER 20 2007
1. People should drink at least eight glasses of water a day
The article authors found no scientific evidence for this advice, although they found several unsubstantiated recommendations in the popular press. The source may be a 1945 article from the National Research Council, part of the National Academy of Sciences, which noted that a "suitable allowance" of water for adults is 2.5 liters a day, although the last sentence noted that much of it is already contained in the food we eat.
"If the last, crucial sentence is ignored, the statement could be interpreted as instruction to drink eight glasses of water a day,'' Dr. Vreeman and Dr. Carroll noted. "Existing studies suggest that adequate fluid intake is usually met through typical daily consumption of juice, milk and even caffeinated drinks.''
Just drink more water than usual. Drink water from a glass several times a day (more than what you normally take). Then the water intake it will be different than usual for YOU and you will see if that method works for YOU.
This is the list of other myths if anyone is interested
2. Medical Myth: We use only 10% of our brains.
3. Medical Myth: Hair and fingernails continue to grow after death.
4. Medical Myth: Reading in dim light ruins your eyesight.
5. Medical Myth: Shaving causes hair to grow back faster or coarser.
6. Medical Myth: Mobile phones are dangerous in hospitals.
7. Medical Myth: Eating turkey makes people especially drowsy.

It looks like that is talking about excessive hydration not doing anything extra. So, dehydration can still probably decrease seminal fluid? Maybe I'm wrong.
Welcome, by the way. You really know your stuff :)

Thank you Dolphus... actually, I am attending Med School and so I have read a lot of stuff. Even though I came here to share with people and also 'coz as a teenager I have doubts and fears and problems. . . In only one day I have found really amazing stuff for my soul and for my tranquility, something I wouldn't find behind books. :)

XD Actually it's not science anymore. . . as they say it's a myth. It will stop people from saying 'scientists say you should drink 8 glasses of watter a day so I think you should drink X glasses and..." etc, etc.

We're not talking about dehydration. Obviously, if you're not drinking enough H2O then those things that are composed of H2O will be decreased, but only marginally.
The idea that drinking lots of H2O will increase semen is based on the erroneous idea that there's no limit to the amount of semen that will be produced if the basic ingredients are supplied in unlimited quantities. This is false. The body has built in regulators to keep things in balance. Otherwise, you'd explode. So, unless you've been trekking across the Sahara, the amount of semen you ejaculate will be about the same regardless of H2O ingestion.
Disagreement is Ok, but it needs to be factual.

the idea that semen production can be infinate is not true and these ideas of "increased semen amount" are not based on that fact, no, of course not, that's taking it out of context.
We're not even saying that it's a large amount. In fact, there's always the age old rule across this forum that "everybody's different". I've even read adult health sites and different men have said that they produce more semen if they take certain vitamins, such as zinc and potassium. Both of which are found in semen.
There's no doubt that diet affects both urine production and semen production. Whether this amount is significant is based on the person. But being a almost two-year member I can say that I have read from numerous members who agree that drinking more water than usual will affect the amount of semen that one will produce. That's not counting any other factors such as exercise etc. It isn't a controlled experiment you know :P
But of course the moral here is that the more healthy habits you have, the more healthy you are in general.
agree to disagree (once again)

Well the more water you drink in the six hours before you jack the more seman. And if you dont jackoff for like a week and drink a lot of water in the six hours before then you will shoot more. You can never drink too much water. The worst that can happen is youll have to use the batherroom more. XD
