Get yourself and your brother out of the house if you're that worried. But if you really want to stay, make sure you leave if things get scary. Go to a friend or relatives house, to someone you trust. If you can't drive, call that someone you trust now, and have them wait at the house with you for your parents to get home. Tell your parents you love them, but that you don't want to come back until they calm down. Assure them that you will be back and make sure they know what number to call to get a hold of you. You do not have to stay in a destructive environment, but you don't have to permanently leave your parents either.

My advise is to go to a friends house or someone you trust and take your little brother with you.
Or you can wait it out and talk with them about what happened and if they get abusive threaten to call the cops on them if they even touch you.
Stay strong..

Two goals here. First is short term, protect yourself and yor bro if you believe there's real risk of injury. Go to a friends house, somewhere safe.

Second goal is longer term. What needs to happen moving forward to prevent you from fearing your parents in the future. For that, you need the help of some adults. You need to tell someone who can dorect you (and them) to the proper authorities and the proper professionals who can help. Tell someone at school, some adult, exactly what's going on and let them help you.

Stay at a friends or relatives house while your parents calm down. If they try to hurt your brother protect him (verbally). Tell your parents to calm down, he's only six after all. That's all I can think of, sorry. Oh and try to calm down your brother too.
