For the life in me, I cannot see
Another ending there could be
For a soul as stressed as mine,
I need a noose, a real life line.

Tie it carefully as not to break,
Hang it by tree branch over the lake.
Slip it so gently around my head,
There won't be pain once I'm dead.

Down, Down, Down I should fall.
Over this life, I choose none at all.
Snap, crack, silence ensues.
Now my cheeks drain of rouge.

Found above, or far below,
The body of a misfit cold as snow.
Mourners will come, tears be shed.
But at least I didn't lose my head.

I love it!!!

Very creative. Has nice rhyme, scansion, and meter. Rolls smoothly off my tongue. The way the words are arranged is artsy and skillful.

This is really terrific

Thank you. :)
I write poetry often. Maybe I'll post more.

Great poem. I can never create good poems because I'm bad at making them rhyme >_<
