We all live in a world that is limited in its progress by the human ethics.

But how life would be like in a world without ethics related to progress?
Can you imagine a world where we could cure millions sacrificing some?

In my opinion ethics is required in order to be order, but should be moderate, not to impede progress. It's for this reason that many laws integrate ethical parts. A world without ethics is a world that doesn't stop evolving but has no order what so ever. Certainly ethics and morality are things of more passive discussion. This is because they are conveyed through our education, and is therefore different for each and every single one of us.
The ethical and moral development delay, I agree. But without them we wouldn't be where we are today, because they serve exactly to decide where we should develop.

Your thoughts?

Ethics are important in scientific research, and even though they may slow down scientific progress, ethics are necessary part of keeping humanity intact.

While scientific progress would be a lot faster, the scientists would turn into animals, because they have no ethics. I am against it.

A world without ethics would be very very dangerous. We are already destroying our planet for the sake of 'progress'. Without ethics the human race would probably kill itself off for progress.
