So I got one today and I'm really liking it, the only game I've got for now is Animal Crossing New Leaf, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has one, and if the 3D makes their heads hurt too :P

I don't have one and I don't find it worth getting because the only reason I'd want one would be to play Animal Crossing New Leaf.

I've played on one before, but I don't think I'd buy one. Animal Crossing is the best! I played it on Gamecube when I was little. :D

I have one. As an owner of every previous Nintendo handheld, minus the Micro, I can say the 3DS is a fantastic, very powerful handheld that has great games to back it up. I personally don't believe that there will be a better handheld for a long time to come.
The 3D will ease up on your eyes within a week or so if you use it regularly. I'm headache prone, so when I do use it, I keep it no higher than medium, but I can still withstand high settings pretty well.
Bigger games that will have more realistic graphics, like Resident Evil: Revelations, will have MUCH more intense 3D effects, so make sure you know what you're used to once you get more games.

That's pretty much what I did :P

I played it on the first Nintendo DS then got it on gamecube, it's so good!

I'm hoping so, I've just turned it off for now, I've only had it a few hours and I'm really impressed with it :)

I've turned the 3D off and it got rid of the headache thank god, think I'll just turn it up slowly if I decide I want to use it

If you are going to use it then turn off the 3D, if you play on 3D for a couple of hours your eyes can receive damage.

It's good for 5 minutes then it's annoying so I don't plan on keeping it on anyway :P

i have one, but the 3D doesn't make my head hurt.
The reason it makes your head hurt (From my viewpoint) is probably the distancing of your eyes, their close enough to where it works, but also far enough apart where your brain and/or eyes have to work a little harder to understand the weird images, try using it at intervals so you don't strain your brain (and your eyes) too much.

Lol, I bought one just for Animal Crossing too. I'm not even a huge Nintendo fan but Animal Crossing has always been a favourite.
I find I can only play for maybe an hour or two at a time with the 3D on medium or low. Otherwise I just leave it off.

I need glasses because my pupils aren't aligned, so I'm guessing that's half my problem, not using 3D isn't a big deal for me so I don't mind thankfully :P

Same here really, the 3D is nice but it's not vital ^.^

I don't play enough handheld games for it to be worth my money- the only game I would play is Pokemon X/Y.

I have one, I really only use the 3D on each game when I first get it to see how well they did. Then it's 2D from there on out pretty much
As for headaches, no not really.

I had a DS Lite, and I didn't like that after breaking it about 5 times, (very finicky and fragile system)

Yeah, what was up with that? Was it an announced defect?

Nope. It performed similar to one, but I guess Nintendos designs became much less... damage resistant. One of them I accidentally dropped, and it just broke.

i have one.. but i think you already knew that. :P
I got mine ages ago i think December 2011, way before AC was released (althoguh I preordered it in May 2012, 13 months before it was released :P ). I've played random games, most aren't that good but i mean Animal Crossing <3 <3 <3
I did harvest moon and mario kart and all that jazz and they were good. Animal Crossing is the main reason I ever did purchase the DS though. No 3D for me though. Each time I get a game, I'll use it for a few minutes to try it but I just can't keep it and the games look better without.
Please though, enjoy (http://imgur.com/X5gjPz9,hD0FoqE,yV93BZ4,FiMVPIw,mi2lODM,8jEVLO7,mTNPMxJ,f7VPna9,c9Z1BnD#7) some photos of me and nat last night :3

The 3D doesn't give me headaches, it's just I can never use it because you have to hold it this exact angle and distance form your face otherwise you see double. It isn't ideal at all for the length of my gaming sessions.
So I never play with 3D on.
I've got a 3DSXL and I only got the thing cause of Pokemon Y which is an absolutely terrible reason since I'll start complaining about the new pokes soon. And I'm not much of a handheld gamer. I have Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing. Recently got the latter. I played the original (released internationally) on GC so it's a huge nostalgia trap for me. Thinking of getting one of the Super Marios or Donkey Kong.
My DSlite lasted me six years, and that's when I traded it in to go toward my 3DS.

I used to own a 3DS but I sold it after 2 months of using it, as it was kind of bad and there was no good games. I would say that 3DS is the worst gaming console I have ever bought.

I love the 3DS. The trick is to get used. It's just like gaming in a car. It's a question of conditioning. :D

I personally love the 3ds. It has some nice games and the 3d doesn't make my head hurt at all. I own a gba sp, DSi xl, and now the 3ds and the 3ds has the best games.
