The fact is that I'm 16, I always eat soup and a good meal at lunch and dinner and never skip breakfast. I usually don't eat a lot between meals so that i don't lose my appetite. However, I'm still very thin. I don't practise a lot of sports and I have more a less a sedentary way of life. What should I do to gain weight fast?

You probably have a very high metabolism, you should go to the doctor and ask to be referred to a dietician to help you eat the right foods to gain weight and stay healthy.

You have a really fast metabolism which means you burn off alot of calories very quickly, I have a fast metabolism too, I think like 1_21guns said, go to a doctor so they can tell you what kind of diet you should have , but I dont think you have an eating disorder, your metabolism is just high. :)

Well the truth is that I would like to gain some fat first in order to have a good BMI and then I would start to do exercise to gain some muscle. But it's ok, I'll follow your advice. Thanks.

I would say it's your metabolism. There are probably diets online and stuff like that which you could follow, or go to a doctor lol

Ok, so if I really want to try to workout, what type of exercises should I do and how many times do I do each one? I also wanted to know exercises to do before and after working out in order to avoid muscular pain. I have one exercise bicycle and a fitness treadmill at home. I weight 105,8 pounds and I'm 175 cm tall.
I also talked to my aunt who is a nurse and she recommended me to get a 100% natural, non-addictive protein powder. I already have the name and gonna buy it as soon as I can.
Thanks for all the advice.

Very high metabolism. I have the same situation and can eat practically any amount or kind of food and it does nothing to the level of body fat that I have, which is almost zero anyways. I do have a muscle mass that is above average (probably because I do a martial art), and muscle cells have a high metabolic rate, which may be contributing to my high metabolism. Even without that I'd say I would still be high. If I were to try and put on body fat starting from now, I'd probably fail, or progress extremely slowly.

High metabolism is not a bad thing in any way, and you don't have any eating disorder. Metabolism slows as you get older, so you should be fine. If you worry that your BMI is too low than you body would make it known- you'd be very hungry and most of the time. Since you have none of those problems, your BMI is probably fine, just in the thin or ultrathin category (not underweight). So no need to worry :).

You want to gain your weight you should eat more dairy products, fish and meat over bread. Choose more protein food like eggs, fruits and vegetables.
•You should be eating at least 2,000 calories everyday...
•Spreading delicious calorie-rich toppings on toast, pitas, and any other carbohydrate source is an excellent way to increase caloric intake. Some good high-calorie spreads are olive oil, cream cheese, butter, nut butters, cheese slices, and mayonnaise. Mix these with frayed meats like chicken or fish.
