The police have filed a complaint against a public servant who allegedly lost signatures in support of a referendum initiative on the bad bank law last year. The public servant faces possible malfeasance charges. The prosecution will now decide whether to pursue the charges or not. In November 2012, around 400 signatures in support of the referendum initiative were lost. The initiative was subsequently ruled invalid for lacking the required signatures, only to be found to be valid once the mistake was uncovered.
