Not sure if this really belongs in the hospital.
Does anyone know if it's possible to stop yourself sleep talking? I've always sleep talked and if people ask me questions while I'm asleep I'll answer them, even if they're personal questions I wouldn't answer while awake. My parents used to always ask me questions to try and find out stuff while I was asleep because I wouldn't remember it when I woke up.

Hmm idk if you can fix that. Maybe there's some way that like a therapist type doctor or something could do. Or like a mask or something but I'm honestly not sure...

It's happened to me while in dreams about 10 times, though I remember nothing of it (my parents told me that I was talking in the middle of the night). Once I was in a lucid dream and, after the weird situation of the dream that I was in (most are weird ^.^), I woke up at exactly the same time as I said "HI", in a weird tone, because I thought I had to make a speech. Luckily nobody was around to hear that.
Interestingly, that happened 2 days after my appendicitis operation, and the stitches+plasters I had meant I could only sleep in the lower bed of my bunk (in my old room design). Perhaps that had some effect on my dreams.
As of how to stop it, I don't think there is any medication that can treat sleep talking. If it is becoming a problem, maybe you can try to take control of any lucid dreams you have and see if you can stop the talking.

You are sleep so it's hard to know you are talking or stop it. Maybe it is the dreams you are having.
