Is it random who features there and do you know how long till my diary will be there or do you have to ask?

It gets rotated every week and it goes in order, I believe anyway. So depending on where you're listed is when you'll be featured, I wouldn't ask for it, just wait for it to happen.

Siobhan's right; it goes in order and changes at least every week. It will be a while before yours get featured because we're near the bottom and it'll take a while to go back to the top again
