Strong feelings

Okay so I've always been into girls a lot, and of course when I hit puberty my feelings got stronger towards girls, which is normal. But over the summer my feelings started getting REDICULOUS! Obviously some of it was sexual, but really most of my feelings weren't about just having sex. When I see a girl at school or whatever that is cute and sweet, I honestly just want to talk to them and date them and just have a girl that I really like that I can talk to and hug and kiss and just spend time with. It's getting so bad how much I want a girl like that, and I just feel like I'm lame and embarrassing myself. So basically, my questions are does anybody else, girl or boy, feel this way? And is it weird that I think that way as apposed to all sexual feelings?

I've never quite felt like that, sorry. And my guess is that you're probably lonely.

It could be just hormones man, I was also like that when I hit puberty. It's normal, don't worry about it, you're not the only one who has or is experiencing this. It's not weird at all man, don't trip out because of it.

Sounds to me like you have a strong desire to be emotionally intimate with someone. Nothing wrong with that. Those people are called soul mates and we all want that.
