I think you just have to take the plunge, tell it to the people you're closest to first but only if you're sure they'll be accepting!

Well, you're in a awesome country for this type of thing, so how do your parents and friends react when they see other countries legalising and supporting gay marriage/relationships, like in the news on TV, internet and such? Would be good for you to have a fair idea of their opinions first if you haven't already. If they think it's great that they are and support gay rights in general you should have no problem just coming out as bisexual.
If they're more negative about it then perhaps get them to elaborate on why and if they're against same-sex attraction in general then it might be best to wait it out and see if they change their opinion or become more comfortable and accepting of the idea. Hopefully you'll be able to ease them into it and then come out as bi. Either way good luck mate! :)

When I told my family I did so by letter because there was absolutely no way that I could have done it face to face. You could try that if you're better at writing to express things, rather than a talker. Or, just come right and say it like 'heyyyyy I'm bi guys, thought you'd like to know'. Friends however, depends on how you think they'll accept it. If you think they'd be okay, just bring it up in casual conversation. Tell the people you're comfortable with knowing first, then go from there and it should get easier each time.
