Sorry if this isn't in the right forum. Basically my friend told me that she has been having disturbing thoughts. Like her family falling off a cliff and people dying. Apparently she finds it really hard to tell people and I'm the only person who knows. I told her that she really needs to tell her family and she said that shes tried an its really hard. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone.

What should I do?

Definitely not in the right forum. Anyway, I'd urge her to tell her family, but otherwise not take action. If things get worse then you should tell someone. She'll be mad at you for breaking your promise but in the end it will help.

Tell her to God because God knows all,it could be a warning that the family may get big problems or something but let her pray because God is the answer to everything

It's only random thoughts, but if they are disturbing your friend, maybe she should tell her family about it, or talk to a psycologist.
