Okay, so I stretched to 1/2 an inch last night and slept in my tapers and woke up today and put the plugs in. While i had the tapers on last night i got this itching/sore pain and i thought it had gotten swollen which happened before but they weren't swollen. So when i changed to the plugs, you know those gears that have ridges on the outside of them, thats what the inside of my ears look like. It seems impossible! I don't know how this happened! My theory is that when i twisted the tapers it made my holes have ridges inside( i was told it was good to twist them once in a while. I might have been lied to). But it just doesn't make sense. Did any of you have this experience and/or know what could have happened? Btw my plugs and tapers are smooth.

I thiNK i know what youre talking about. Like after i went up a little more there were like ridges like, idk it was like little bumps connecting instead of just a road circle yknow

I don't stretch, I'm just pierced, but my instant question is how long are you waiting between stretches? I know you probably know more than me, but every time you stretch your ear, you treat it like a new piercing that needs to heal fully before you stretch again. I believe this is called "cat butt" in the gauging community.
