Hey.
Do you guys think that labels (e.g. Gay, Staright, Bi) are ok? Because the human mind is so unique from person to person, is it truly a good thing to say you are 'gay'. As this person may actually be attached to woman, but have some other feelings for men, but because he has no other option he is 'gay'. I think you are who you are, and no one can label what you truly are.

Fact of the matter is, labels are a concise way of telling people something about you. It's not really a matter of right and wrong, it's an individual preference whether or not to use one.

You label yourself - but do not let others label you

It's up to the person whether they use labels or not. But in the long run it's harder without them because other people have trouble understanding without a label.

Its up to that person to label themselves or not (Express their feelings/sexuality, or withhold it). Nobody can label them, only they can label themselves if they choose.

There's a good TED Talk on it called 50 Shades of Gay, which talks about how most people aren't 100% straight or gay, and even most bisexual people aren't 50/50. It's well worth watching if you have 15 minutes to spare.

TBH I don't mind labeling because it's simple. You example about feelings about another guy in my eye is somewhat straight but unless he does mind having sex with a boy or girl then he BI and if he only likes men then he's gay. It's a simple system, I mean yeah you are who you are but labeling is always going to be around.

I hate labels. When you squeeze people into boxes they become claustrophobic.

It's human nature to label things.

Its OK to label yourself, but not for others to label you. I'm not sure that made sense but yeah
