I have contacted apple about this about 10 times, in the last couple of weeks. They have been to fucking useless to provide me with a good solution.

Basically, I moved all my music files around, so it made it so itunes couldn't find the song file, so I just started itunes over.

But now what happens is, when I add my songs to itunes. The track number doesn't come up, so the songs in a album will be out of order. It never use to do this, it just seems the track numbers, ain't transferring over.

As you see in the screen shot "Dr Dre 2" That is the itunes view, as you see the intros, skits, songs are all out of order.

As you see in the screen shot "Dr Dre 3" Thats where I keep my music files, as you see the track numbers are there. Its the #

Edit: I know you can go "get info" & manually edit the track names. I've done that for some songs, but I don't have time to do it for 450 albums.

I think that there's an option in the Get Info menu to change the track/add a track order with little to no effort. This would be on each individual album though so it'd take a while. Probably no more than two hours. Sorry if that's too long.

Also, I think you can get the information to complete the album from iTunes itself. I haven't used it in a while, so I'm unsure, but it's either in Get Info, or somewhere in the toolbar.

You're going to need to do a bit of looking, but I'm sure there's a method to fix this somewhere.
