Hey, I am writing a book that's plot goes like this :
A girl named Gwen lives with her alcoholic father, who gets himself into trouble. Except when Gwen falls asleep, she awakens into a great new world of the nonviolent Fioxs'. They are aliens within another dimension, made primarily of them as well as similar mutated versions of animals from Earth. In this second dimension, her friend is there to keep her secret and guide her through life.
However, her secret leaks around. While she is in her second dimension, odder occurrences take place and new creatures lurk. War. Gwen, on Earth, is taken by the government, and her friend is thrown into Earth. Hiding.
