Recently, I have moved places to where my mum and dad grew up. Now I am supposed to make friends before school starts again and I am meeting up with a girl my age and is going to the same school as me, and my parents are already friends with her mum. Thing is this girl I am not sure wether or not she will like me or just think I'm uncool, I know you will probably just say be yourself blah blah, but I don't know how to make a good impression! Her name is Caitlin by the way. So what also I have running through my head is that if I can't be friends with Caitlin then, who will I hang pity with at school who will be my friend and will I have to sit alone at lunch again? I don't know.

I think you should try not to worry, be positive and be yourself and you'll 'fall in' with like minded people over time, but only as long as you put yourself in a position to do so! Push any fear you have way back and just be yourself, don't allow yourself to be introverted :)

Just talk to her and be friendly.

Ok so, I met up with her because that's what was planned by my parents and turns out its ok she actually likes all the stuff I like. So that's good, and she should be in the same form as me for my new school. So that's good otherwise I really wouldn't know what to do.
