so i just learned that i may have a dermatologist appointment next week, and i need some home remedies to make scars fade, if not completely, enough that they are as visible as they normally are.
Don't get me wrong, its not that i want to get rid of them, because i have a love hate relationship with them, but i don't want my mom or the dermatologist to see them.

I'm sure I've heard something to do with lemon, but I don't know, the best thing is cream with Vitamin E in it (often found in after sun) if you want to be somewhat subtle about it. I don't think it's really possible to get scars to disappear in a week though :(

As 1_21Guns said, lemon helps. Put some lemon juicy on them it helps and Nivea. It works for me. Also you could use suntan lotion to try to gain some colour in the rest of the skin.

You could try aloe vera gel.

After sun works too because it's active agent is aloe vera. You could use cocoa butter too. If you have camomile tea, brew it and then use the tea bag across the scars and this can help fade them quickly, well from my experience at least. Lavender oil has skin-cell-rejuvenating properties too, if you have any of that but it does have a very potent odour. There's also honey, it's an natural antiseptic. Banana pulp is another effective remedy for healing wounds as it reduces inflammation and soothes the skin. If the area affected is large, it is advisable to apply banana paste and cover the area with some gauze to quicken the healing process.

I honestly can't think of anything that would help you that quickly but try what the others have suggested. The only warning I have is that using lemon frequently can make your skin more sensitive to light and sunburns. So just be careful with that.
Also, there is a difference between sunscreen and suntan lotion. One helps protect entirely against the sun while the other promotes tanning and offers no protection so if you have any sort of sensitive skin, I'd advise against using those or tanning oils. (If you're seeing a dermatologist, there's obviously some sort of skin issue so I'd just stay away from those.)

Thanks for the clarification :)

So just make a cup of chamomile tea, drink it, cuz it is tea, and run the bag over the scars? that easy? does it help if you use more than one way? because i have aloe vera and got chamomile tea today.

You can you use them together, I would imagine. I have never tried both at the same time, but they do work individually so I don't see why not.

Bio-oil worked for me, as soon as you apply it, it will dull them while it's freshly applied and over time they'll stay paler with each application
