Ok, so my bra fits really really bad and I just don't want to go to a bra fitting! Is there anyway to measure at home before going to the store because I'm worried someone I know will see me being fitted and well it's a little embarrassing to me thanks. Also has anyone ever been fitted for a bra, if so did you find it helpful and did you go to a chain store like Walmart or target or did you go to a special store?

Yes, you can masure it, but you should also try the bra on in the store if it fits. Your measur first the range of your chest under your breasts. There you get something like 30'', 32'' or so on. than you measure the around the fulles part of your breast. take away now the first number to fin the cup size

I'd rather have a bra that fitted than not just because I was embarrassed. The people measuring you are professionals and can tell you accurately what size you are, which is something you cannot do by yourself at home.

I measured myself and I seemed to be pretty accurate. It's embarrassing to have it done in public.

There are some online programs that can tell you from measurements you get yourself, I did it and my bras fit..

If you google "bra size calculator", you'll find a pretty good site for measuring and getting the correct size. I would definitely recommend getting a professional fitting though, it's nothing to be embarrassed about and it's your best bet if you're having trouble getting the right fit. I don't know about Walmart or Target but Macy's and Nordstom where I live definitely do fittings.

I highly recommend that you get a bra fitting at the store. I used to wear a 34A about three years ago when I should have been wearing a 32b and I changed to a 32b but now I am a 34b. so I highly reccomend a bra fitting.

I saw an expert on Oprah one day say that 90 percent of women are wearing the wrong size bra. She said that most older women wear a bra for support only. They need to wear the bra size that puts them back where they belong then for support. LOL

I can only repeat what most of the other girls here have already said.

From my own huge amount of experience with buying bras (I did in the end have to have all my bras custom made) I can tell you that there is only one way of getting the correct fitting bra...And that is to have a professional fitting.

There really is absolutely nothing at all to be embarrassed about...We (Girls/Women) all have breasts therefore we will always be needing bras...That's why there are professional women in the world to help us get the correct, most supportive and comfortable one.

And finally please remember this...You have nothing that they have not already seen countless times, and of course they will have a pair (Boobs/Breasts/Tits or whatever you wish to call them) themselves.

For the best fit though just go to the store and get it done!
