Ok, so i hope this makes sense.
I have been self harming for a couple years, it was scratching my self till i bleed. but recently it turned into cutting a couple weeks ago. and it feels a lot better than scratching. I can't get the same relief from scratching anymore, because it can't bring the blood that cutting does. and it feels good.

I would say this was bad because it means you are getting more addicted to self harming, and now you are looking for more ways to do it to get "better" results. :/

If you're progressing on how much you hurt yourself, then yes of course it's bad. You're going from one harmful action to another and that progression usually means you are getting more dependant and due to that it will be harder to break it. I wouldn't say it was bad but of course, I'd be a hypocrite, but if you can, try and control the pattern and how much/deep you are going to go/are already going.

I don't think this is okay but I've done scratching, it would just swollen up and get red and feels like burning and I even bit myself too sometimes, but when I turned to cutting, yes it was easy but I don't think you should continue doing it. I mean there will be scars and all, it'll be harder to hide.
