Any Farcry 3 fans?

My friend loaned me Farcry 3 and I just started it today. I really like it! Anybody have tips for the game before I get too far into it? Anything you like or don't like about it?

Far Cry 3 was okay, just enjoy the island and do not expect too much out of both endings.

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon on the other hand was a trip to nostalgia-ville.

Yeah I loved FarCry 3, in fact it's probably one of the best games I've played in recent years, simply for the fantastic scale of the world and the activities you can do, that you wish you could do in real life (and probably could do if you had the money / lacked the sanity) the story's just a way of introducing the thrills one at a time, with a some more twists and turns and stealthy bits in between.

The story's like a cheese sandwich spiked with Crystal Meth. It might look, and feel, bland to start with but once you've taken that first bite you're hooked and addicted to the rush that it puts you through, and you want to do more. And you can.

I loved Far Cry 3 but my only annoyance with the game is that once you've completed the game, it becomes boring due to how easy and repetitive all the side missions were. Once you have conquered all the islands and hideouts, doing the remaining side missions became boring and repetitive.
