Okay so my boyfriend and I have been together for almost ten months and we have pretty much spent everyday together. He just left for Europe teo days ago. He won't be coming back until the first. The last couple days have seemed so damn long. Anyone have advice or stories on how you coped with being away from your significant other for a long period of time?

Mine was more with family and we just talked everyday on Facebook or if you have a decent phone plan with money then phone calls :)

I know how you feel I was in the same situation last year when my boyfriend was in Spain...my only advice is to keep yourfelf busy, don't just lay down and think about how much you miss him, just go out with your friends or family and have fun :)

That isn't so long! Just remember that you'll be together soon and try to talk on the phone as much as you possibly can! :)

Keep yourself occupied and the time will fly by. Try not to think about him, and in the meantime, hang out with other friends that you don't get to see or talk to as often. Go out to the mall or go outside or take a day-trip somewhere; it's almost like a break-up where you should surround yourself with friends so you don't have to think about him as often, but you can still talk to him (maybe?) and you'll get to see him when he gets back. If you can't distract yourself, plan what you two can do for when he gets back, what you can talk about, etc.
