Media Center

I just got a new gateway computer with Windows Media Center 2005 and I alread have a home network with an 8 port switch/hub with 3 computers and a cable modem on it and I've always been able to share documents, printers and see the other computers on my network but now on my new media center computer I hooked it up to the network and I can get on the internet but I can't see the other computers and they cant see my new one I think I've tried everything. Whats wrong?

Make sure that file and printer sharing is on (for the new computer) and that the Network and Remote Procedure services are set to automatic (start >> run >> services.msc) Also, make sure that the hard drive is shareable or has at least one shared folder. Of course, double check on the ethernet (or usb, or serial) cable being connected properly. Check to see if a firewall is blocking the connection. And if that's all set properly, then set up an new network on the new computer so it can link to the hub

I just tried all that and still can't access other computers on my network anyone else?
