I could go into a long rant about this, but I'm choosing not to. I don't want to start a full-fledged arguement, so I'll keep this short.
It really bothers me how bad some of the answers I see to these threads are. It's like the people who know the least speak the most about it.
Being gay or bisexual isn't that hard to understand, but for some reason I see some of the worst posts around here.
I don't want to be specific bc reasons, but just to explain what I mean, there is no answer to the question "Am I gay". You might be, you might not be.
You were gay LONG before you started experimenting, so don't act like those actions are "changing you".
And don't even dare tell me you're "just curious". I'm not saying you ARE gay, you may very well be straight, but I have a hard time seeing it as "curiosity" if you've already explored everything, if you know what I mean.
I'm done.

Yet, by making this thread you're going to make people want to argue with you. It's got to the point where you think you're the only one who can answer the sexuality questions but guess what? You're just like anyone else who answers, no one is going to have the perfect answer, not even you.

That's wonderful, you keep insulting everyone, good job.

Wow, best answer I've ever seen to a sexuality question, ever. People need reassurance and so what if people go on and ask these questions, they're humans they can do whatever they please. What does your answer do? It just leaves them even more uncertain.

Not many do, you just see things that way because you think you know all about sexuality.
And don't even dare tell me you're "just curious". I'm not saying you ARE gay, you may very well be straight, but I have a hard time seeing it as "curiosity" if you've already explored everything, if you know what I mean.
People can't be curious, is that what you're implying?

It was a rant. If it offends anyone then I'm sorry, but that's exactly how I feel at the moment.

Think Bacon just has said everything I want to about this post. How can you judge what you havnt experienced yourself? People need direct answers to their questions- thats what this site is about. It reassures them thry are normal and thry dont have to worry.

I know this was a rant..but I still think it's important to post a reply. You may not feel that everyone is giving the best advice or helping, but then again who are you to tell them what is?
People have different opinions (and different sources) on how/when/why someone is L/G/B/T, so to give a blanket statement doesn't help or reassure the person asking the question. The whole point of the forum is that people can receive individualized help based on their situation, not just the same "only you can figure it out" reply over and over; that doesn't help anyone.
And just on the last thing, if someone's experimenting sexually with the same sex: so. what. It doesn't mean anything until the person (as you said earlier) truly figures out their sexuality - anything leading up to it is rather meaningless.
