I am almost positive that I'm getting one of these. What do you guys think?

They're okay. Not bad. I kind of like the '06+ ones a little better, looks wise.

Getting the SS version?

Meh. They look kind of funky in my opinion, but that doesn't really matter (unless you're like super wealthy and can afford nicer cars). If it's about economics and being cheap, Chevy's are pretty easy to maintain.

While maybe not that great on the styling factor, a Hyundai Elantra of the same era will last for a long time if taken proper care of. We had ours for 10 years and we only had 1 major transmission issue, that's about it.

Hahahahahahaha. Well, the signature tail light of the skyline never goes out of my mind. xD .. I'm a Nissan fanatic, so.... yeah.

The r32 is my favorite. :D
Don't worry. The r34's a close second!

It doesn't seem as big as the more classic Impalas, I still like it, very 90s-ish.

Yeah, it's not my first choice. I'd much rather have the 1996 model, but it doesn't have as good of gas mileage.

Cool! I've always wanted to get a 67 Impala, like the one from Supernatural. (:

The second picture? Yeah, I like it too. That's the Super Sport model though. I won't be getting that. The Dual exhaust'll have to wait.

It's alright. I never really liked Chevys until the 2012 Malibu.

I absolutely love the new Malibu! I'm honestly not wild about the 8th gen Impala I'm getting, but it was that or some tiny Honda or Toyota.

I love the Malibu and the new Impala.

I feel like I'm the only one who actually really likes the 2006-2012 Impala. Everyone around me hates it.

But yeah, the New Impala is really nice. I hope to get it some day.

I didn't really have a problem with it. I don't like big vehicles, so I would be content with a little Toyota or something like that.

I need kind of a big car because Skis need to fit in the trunk. I'm a big skier guy.

I also want a bigger car for safety. I feel like a Toyota Tercel or Echo or even Corolla would just smash under impact.

The Corolla is actually pretty good. My friend had one and someone swerved and hit her. Totaled her car, but she's still alive and make it without any injuries. She bought another one after she saved up enough to get one, plus the insurance.

Yep. You're right. I don't know what I was thinking... lol

They are some of the safest cars I can think of right now... It's also that I really like big cars.

Gas in my area is WAY too expensive for me to consider owning a large vehicle...

That's the thing though. The Impala I'm getting gets 25 mpg combined.

I drive a 2003 Suzuki Aerio. I get ~25 MPG combined Highway is 28, but my city is 22. I'd prefer a more fuel efficient vehicle, but I'll live :P , driving with my manual transmission makes it worthwhile.

Yeah, the new Impala is getting over 30 on the highway. Man I want that car!

I want to learn to drive a Manual. My second car is going to be a 1982-1992 Chevrlet Camaro Iroc Z.

It took a bit for me to learn because the takeoff is the hardest part to get down.

Well if you still haven't chosen.... think on this.
Have you ever thought about buying like a 97 Buick Regal? I know they are ugly and grandma car-ish, but the thing has the same motor as the 04 impala ss...( the L67) both are 6.5 second cars, but the Buick is a third of the price. Also, the Buick is said to be easy to mod to get more power out of it. Also, they are supposed to be quite reliable.

Just food for thought.
