I think if you're able to handle yourself and deal with the consequences of sex then it's acceptable to have sex. So to directly answer the question, I think I should have waited, but that is only because I wasn't prepared for the consequences.

Hmmm...I've got a feeling I've posted this somewhere before.

I lost mine when I was sixteen and three months old to my then boyfriend who is now my fiancé, and who I have lived with for the past six years.
