Seems like a great laptop really cheap for the specs that they give you. I would get it if I didn't just buy a new HP a couple of month ago :D

The specs for a laptop are alright, go for it if you will, one thing I have to say though is dell is possibly the worst 'big name brand' to buy from.

780??? For that I'd say it's overpriced Dell doodoo.
For 400-600 it's good.
Shitty hard drive and internal graphics but if you only need it for school work then graphics don't matter.

For educational purposes, it will work good. Good memory/portability. Only downside is that it's windows 8

i'd say its a little pricey. the specs are just OK, but it should get everything done.

I sure you can get something cheaper with the same quality, I try to avoid Dell. I broke around 3 of them just from wear and tear. One I fixed one, lost the other one, and the third's screen fell of the hinges. Keep searching and you'll find one.

Even though I hate Dell, the specs don't lie. I'd go for it.
