It's funny how I give a lot of dating advice but I'm actually terrible at all this stuff in practice. :P
For those who don't know me so well, I'm introverted, socially anxious, but generally friendly person. I just moved to a new city, I'm started university in the fall, and I'm 18 so I really want to have a chance at having more of a life than I did before. I mean, hey, fresh start right?
I'm not out looking for a relationship. Nah, I'm not even sure if I want one. But I figure a few dates here and there couldn't hurt if the opportunity arose. That could be fun. I'm actually pretty good at making friends but I tend to get stuck there with people. For some reason people don't seem to get the message when I'm single and interested. I'm also bisexual and I don't make a big deal of it but then people just assume I'm straight.
It's not like it's some priority for me, so don't worry. I'm just curious if anyone has any tips. Maybe some of the older members, given that university and high school relationships are fairly different but all help is appreciated.
