Im 14 the other day i was walking out of the restaurant with my family when my mom started talking to some stranger and he said how old is your son 12 13??? It makes me really angery!!! Has this ever happend to you

Yes, it has. I was 13 and some senior said I was 12, it has been the only time it has happened since I am 15 and have been confused for 17 or 18. People should only ask peoples age and not guess unless asked to.

My age gets mistaken all the time. I don't find it to be a big deal really. I politely correct them and that's that. Doesn't bother me.

I always get told I look younger than I am, even when buying cigarettes or alcohol they question my age. It's like, uhmmmmm I'm 18, I'm legal go away.

Old people can't judge kids ages. My grandmother couldn't tell if you were 11 or 20, anyone under 30 looks the same when you're that old :lol:

Lots of people think im a Senior, or around 18, but im actually 15. (Turn 16 next month). Im alot taller than my age (Im 5,9 or 5,10 ish). So it gets mistaken for alot.

People seem to think I'm older than I am. I don't think I look older, I look my age or younger. I don't know, maybe it's the way I act lol. It's more funny to me than annoying.

At the dentist in July my new dentist thought I was 16...and I've had cases at Sam's Club when I go up to get free food where I get told I need a parent >_> but that was a few years ago.

Happens all the time. They always say that i'm either 18 or 19 and she's like nope, she is 16.

Yes. It happens all the time. Whenever I was in school one day, there was a move up day for the incoming seventh graders. One of them thought I was in eighth grade and I got slightly offended. I don't look that young, honestly. I'm 15 and not like 10 or whatever they thought.

I'm 14. One person thought I was 16. Someone else has thought I was 11. It works both ways.

Sometimes people think I'm younger then I am but usually not older. My twin sister gets mistaken for being older all the time though.

The other day I was in Friendly's and they gave me the kids menu which says for kids 12 and under. i'll be 14 november 6. Also, I'm auditioning for Annie an I'm being considered for the role and she is 11.. Last play I was in I played a 12 year old. I'm constantly mistaken for younger and sometime's it's upsetting but that's alright.
