I'm a huge video game enthusiast, and I say that video games offer the absolute best in orchestrated and instrumental music. Anyone care to prove me wrong?

Also, general instrumental music thread.

One cannot prove an opinion, therefore your thought process is invalid.

Yes, videogames do offer some beautiful both orchestrated and individual music. However the Saint Seiya OST beats any video game OSTs (save some exceptions).

Samples of great videogame music:
The Terminal Show - Silent Hill Homecoming (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4HfgwLmyd8)
The Witcher 2 - Path of a Kingslayer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg3L0nSZEqo)
Knights of the Old Republic Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSKvMyruPTA)
Bioshock - Dancers on a String (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG5OhYcEadU)
An End Once and for All - Mass Effect 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5JvbD2Zc9I)
Bastila Shan's Theme - Knights of the Old Republic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeoGAKXsMjE)
Science is Fun - Portal 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz1XYJYiNLU)
8-Bit Battle - Precipice of Darkness Episode 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSBNNc5BVqQ)
The Clicker - Alan Wake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ5_HY0G2Co)
Dearly Beloved - Kingdom Hearts 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUQuBBBzx-I)
Gwyn, Lord of Cynder - Dark Souls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH3mbB3H57g&noredirect=1)
Lone Wolf - Halo Reach (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnXwhcOClbk)
Still Another Wanderer - The Battle for Wesnoth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSs0Y06nU0I)
Dracula's Castle - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnuqGIKXPyc)

Hans Zimmer in any movie he composed for, ever. TDKR is perfection.

Also, The Rite of Spring is best composition ever created.
