Are teens 13 to 14 shaving/trimming their pubic hair ?

I think a combination of both, but shaving or trimming is probably more popular - at least among girls. I wouldn't know for boys.

I personally didn't start until I was 15 and found out that other kids did it but at your age no one should be going down there so it shouldn't matter

Yeah I shave, and I'll be 14 in a few weeks. I think it depends. At 13 and 14 especially everyone is in different stages of puberty, a lot of 13 year olds don't have any pubes at all. I for one am ahead of the average 13 year old and naturally would have a lot of uncomfortable hairs that I'd rather not be there.

i had very little down there at 13, but I was sexually active by then and the guy I was active with always suggested that i trim/shave. So I started to shave and now i like it that way.

I totally agree with uglyinsideout. most of these threads make absolutely no sense to me and when I was 13 and 14 most girls didn't have enough hair to shave and just a few were shaving their underarms. And WHAT 13 year old waxes? What are you waxing. My mom won't even let me wax until Im 18 and then the girls at the spa will do it. A 13 and 14 year old should definitely not be waxing herself.

It's up to you, my recommendation, wait till you have a substantial amount of pubic hair, then try shaving, see what you prefer and go from there. DO NOT do it because someone else is doing, make your own decision as to what you like more.

Some pros and cons of both

Pros:

- Is natural
(Shaven)
- In some people opinions its more appealing
- Some people say its more comfortable

Cons:
(Unshaven)
- hair can get in the way during sexual activities
- some people say girls don't like it
(Shaven)
- you have to maintain it or else it gets scratchy as hell
- you look like you never hit puberty

You see how the perks for shaven are all "some people say". ;)

Try both and make your own decision, that is what I did and happy with my decision.

I think it depends on the person. Some like to leave it some like it clean shaven.
I like to keep it trimmed, but not completely shaven. It make things look bigger ;)

I've been shaving/waxing my pubes since I was 13. I still do. Some people at that age leave them natural because they are experiencing it at first. But when u get older it's a pain so u shave/trim
