Are all bans permanent?

If someone gets banned of this forum is the ban forever or is it to a certain date?

Usually yes. However, you can appeal them and that is looked over and you may be unbanned after. This doesn't happen often, though.

Some bans are timed. Most are permanent and sometimes can be appealed.

There is a former admin who was once banned for a long period of time (mystery music here)

Usually yes like others have said.

Some bans are time dependant meaning that they'll expire. Some members can request to be banned and later on ask to be unbanned when they feel the time to return is right.

Other than that the bans are usually permanent unless the Senior Staff decide to unban someone.
