A psychology magazine I read this month had an article which was about girls loving guys with guitars (I thought it was some bullshit first, seems to be true though), and guys not giving shit about wether a girl has a guitar or not. But anyway, it also contained a list of songs that would make most girls melt if a guy would sing it for her (while playing the guitar of course). The list was made by the magazine 'Guitar World'.

This is that list:
1. Extreme - More than Words
2. Dave Matthews band - Crash
3. Allman Brothers Band - Melissa
4. The Cure - Just Like Heaven
5. Goo Goo Dolls - Name
6. Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
7. Lifehouse - You and Me
8. Peter Frampton - Baby I love Your Way
9. John Mayer - Your Body is a Wonderland
10. Led Zeppelin - Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You


Is there a song in that list that would make you melt if a guy would sing that for you? if so, which one(s)? -or for the guys who feel the urge to reply here, if a girl would sing it :P-
And just in general, what song would make you melt if a guy would sing it? -again for the guys, what song whould a girl have to sing?-


From the list, I just love 'Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight'. I would also love it if someone would sing 'Lifehouse - You and Me' to me, yet he has to have a voice just as good as the original singer, otherwise it wouldn't impress me that much.
In general, I would love to hear a guy sing 'The Letter Black - Best Of Me'.

Well I'm gay so I'd be singing to a dude.. And I definitely wouldn't pick any of those to sing to someone.. probably pick this to sing to someone.. If someone sang this to me then we'd be a perfect match lol... Personally if someone walked up to me and started singing John Mayer I'd puke on their face.

Anyway, I guess if someone sang Wake Me Up by Ed Sheeran then yeah, I'd understand what you mean.

Warmness on the Soul - Avenged Sevenfold. It's beautiful. It's a piano ballad but has a guitar part and is just so beautiful. If a girl sang that to me...oh, and I'd sing it for her in a heartbeat

Well im gay . so yeah i would prefer a dude to sing it but id choose morticians daughter by black veil brides. its such a great song with lots of emotion

it's pretty depressing but this song means so much to me. I'd marry a guy if he sang this to me, well after 2014 I will

Crush you mean? Yeah, I've played that for my girlfriend. Let's just say, it's a proven method, lol. Literally the most romantic song I've heard, and I don't consider many songs to be "romantic" because of my perception of romance I guess.

If you were to sing me Name, you'd probably get me. But more because Goo Goo Dolls is nostalgic to me, 90s kid and all. I'd add Slide too.

Umm. Don't sing Just Like Heaven though. Does anyone listen to lyrics anymore?

My fiancé and I have problems communicating with each other. So, we use music to speak.
When he sings/plays for me, I could care less about anything else in the world. Some of my favorites:

Fall For You-Secondhand Serenade.
She's Everything- Blake Shelton.
Crazy Beautiful- Andy Grammar.
