Ever heard of this movie? No? Well all should. It's about a Christian girl, Megan, who is very much average, she's cute, sweet, smart, funny, athletic, but her friends and family thinks she's gay and they send her to a straight camp.

One hitch, Megan, never considered being lesbian until at the camp and then falling for another lesbian there. Her parents say that if she is lesbian then she cuts from them.

Point? She's hurt and in the hot seet since she is so confused and innocent.

Anyone ever felt like this? I feel a lot like Megan.
For starters both me and her have strict Christian parents who'd separate at the slightest suspicion, and latter people just assumed she was gay for not being a sex crazy girl to guys, although later it seems she is lesbian after she falls in love.

Straight camps are utter bullshit. It'd be like trying to change your height by going to Tall Camp.

I watched that film, man did that piss me off. Straight camps do not work, they never will work, you will always be gay regardless of what some therapist says to you.

Both of you would hate the movie then. I like it because the girl proved the system wrong and lived for once and finally coped and realized her true self. Plus the movie was funny.

Are you implying that straight camps are effective?

Doesn't mean you liked it. I read that but my impression was that the movie angered you so you strongly disliked it.

Are you implying that straight camps are effective?

And I said that where exactly? And what about their effectivity, I know not of any to look into anyway. I just liked the movie.
