Hey guys, I posted a question the other day about shaving, and now I got a WHOLE lot of red little bumps that I believe are ingrown hairs. They are so itchy that like im about ready to flip a b!t(h. is there anything I can use without telling my parents to make these things go away?

when you shave itching and the red bumps is just part of it. when i shaved mine the itching was terrible and i had the red bumps too, but as it gradually grew back, the itching stopped and the red bumps slowly went away too. unfortunately there isn't much you can do except put up with it.

Well, the red bumps don;t sound like 'ingrown hairs'. Hairs grow outwards, and when pubes grow back, the newly emerging tips can dig in to the skin there when you move around. That's what causes the itch, the friction from the stubble against the skin. The red bumps are probably an irritation caused by shaving, as the skin there is delicate and not at all used to the scraping by a razor.

Try putting a thin coating of Vaseline jelly on it until the hairs grow in longer and softer. The jelly will also soothe the irritation/bumps.
