How long until my pubic hair grows back?

On Thursday I made the decision to shave my pubic hair from it's bushy mess into a very short crop. Before I had only shaved the top and sides, never really bothering with the rest of it. But I bought an electric razor and maybe went a little bit crazy, giving my downstairs a buzz cut, to be honest. I don't really mind it since it's easier than the bush and feels and looks so much nicer. Thankfully, it hasn't itched at all, either, despite it being basically stubble.
Lately I had been getting more into different styles for down there. Even though I'm a virgin with no boyfriend whatsoever, I still feel like experimenting with my hair down there. There's no real rush for my hair down there to grow, but since it's so short, I can't do anything interesting down there. The only possible style I could even go for is a Brazilian by shaving everything off and even though it's as short as I've ever gone now, I just don't think I'm ready to be completely bald down there.
So does anyone know how long it'll take before my hair down there grows to a decent length? I've been Googling and what not trying to get an answer, but I've heard everything from a week or two, to three to five months. I know everybody's hair grows at a different pace, but what's the average time? Also will it grow in quicker since I shaved it? Any things I can do to speed up the growing process?
Any styles I should specifically try once it's long enough to style?

Anyway, hair growth depends on a vast number of things, including diet, genetics, weather, stress, etc. But as a general rule, girl pubic hair tends to grow a bit faster than boy pubic hair. At least that's the way it is with my brother, sister and I. usually she and i shave every other day, or every 2 days because by the 3rd day, we have enough stubble it sticks through light panties. (if you push them flat you can feel it, kinda like spikey things) but our brother doesn't get that type of thing until well into a week. For design purposes, I'd take a guess that a week, maybe two tops, and you'd grow enough back to be able to design it. It won't be full bush, but it would be enough you could play with it.

Contrary to popular belief the only possible thing that would make hair grow faster, is the massaging action of the razor. Although usually with enough massage hair can be rubbed away. (think guys who wear hats, they go bald because the hat adds pressure to their scalp) I don't personally know anyone who has had more hair because they trimmed or shaved. But I'm always ready to learn something new.

I prefer shaved on any partners male or female. But you also have to contend with razor bumps/ ingrown hairs. Now if someone could come up with a way to get rid of those, I'd totally pay for it. But alas no easy solution that I know. Just have to deal with the 25 or so red pimply things every few days.

It takes me like 3 weeks for hair to grow back, I just shave I guess im not that creative :\

I would think that it probably grows as fast as the hair on your head. I really can't say but I shave mine about every other shower. Shaving stubble hurts until you get used to it though so a good lotion helps with that too.

Its naturally in your genes. You cant make it grow faster, nor speed or slow down the process. Everyone is different on how it grows, no one cant give you the exact answer on how long it takes. Mine usually takes under 1 week because I have a hairy mom and dad so those genes of ''hairyness'' came to me. And the landing strip is probably the best one they everyone loves.

Mine grows back pretty quickly but I keep a landing strip.I guess everbody is different based on genetics or whatever.I don't like being bald though.

I usually shave my pubic area every other day. not so much because it grows back so quickly. I do it because it's just a real quick few swipes with the razor in the shower and I'm done.

It's been a week now and I will admit, it does feel a bit better, and it's begun to curl and look a bit more natural rather than sticking straight up like the stubble it was.
I'm going to try and make it to two weeks and see what I'll do with it then. If I decide it's long enough to shave then, then I will, but if not, I'll hold off to three weeks, or maybe even a month. It all depends, really, but perhaps I'll keep you guys updated.
God though, having it short has been so much more comfortable… I wish I would've shaved it short a long time ago! :)

i am about the same about 2 days and i need to tuch up but for full regrowth takes a few weeks to a month or so

Mine starts growing back after about three days but takes around few weeks to fully grow back.

mine typically grows back within 2 weeks to a good length. a month and it's back to being a bush.

I shave every second day as i don't like having pubic hair at all . Wearing even the briefest bikinis there's never an issue. Another benefit is ask any guys or if you are that way inclined any girl and i'm sure they would rather go down there without pubic hair.It's also a real turn on.:yes:

well, its your decision, since i think for long, u grew a full bush, then u just shaved them, but u already noticed that they come back... try to grow them more then u decide what u do, to keep them or to trim them to ur desired style or to keep ur v smooth...

honestly, i have a full bush, i love having them for a simple reason... it makes me fell more a woman... :)
