I just think that people with in insanely high post count should have some additional thing to display it aside from a post face. Doesn't have to be for everyone, maybe just 5000 and above.

Sure, it doesn't matter, but I think that those who have devoted a lot of time to the forums should have something that shows that more. Making their name more noticable would be a good way to show that, I believe.

That's why we have the special post faces. I don't think we need colors too - all that would do is confuse people as to who is and isn't a staff member.

Well, there are only the colors for mods, right? Blue for global, green for a specific area, and red for the admin. Mike is the only Admin, and there aren't many global mods, so I'm sure there's room for a few more designated colors, if not at least one.

Then assume you're a new member. They see users with colored names, they would likely assume those are members of staff. To be honest there is no reason to add this, and it will cause confusion.

Also, post count really shouldn't be tied to how dedicated one is to a forum. Some people spam to raise their post count, so to then give them another incentive to do so makes no sense.

Can't argue with that. Very well. Thanks. Might as well lock this up.

Steven's right. Usually colored names = staff on any forum.

Giving colored names to people with lots of posts is pointless. (heck, I don't even want a colored name)

Don't think it is necessary...
